Anything Co is a company renowned for producing maekake, traditional Japanese workwear used for over 200 years. This pouch reflects a blend of heritage and functionality. Maekake aprons, tied around the waist, have long supported Japanese workers, providing both utility and back support. Anything Co still weaves its richly textured, indigo fabric on looms over a century old.

For this pouch, Robinson chose the thickest maekake fabric, ensuring durability and a beautiful texture. They also incorporated the signature maekake belt, ingeniously repurposed to secure your pens within the pouch, making it both practical and deeply rooted in tradition.

Anything has been making maekake (traditional Japanese workwear) since 2004, using traditional methods of production. They still use looms that are more than 100 years old to weave richly textured, indigo fabric.
