The first ever Knafs knife, the Lander. It's a pocket knife that embodies the spirit of the first landing on the Moon. Take charge. Stick the landing. Walk on the Moon.
The scales on the Lander are Fast Swap Scales: they're easy to remove without disassembling the entire knife. Simply unscrew four screws, and you're free. If you're unfamiliar with pocket knife disassembly, typically removing the scales can be an ordeal: the entire knife falls apart in your hands, and you've got to retune everything to align all the parts. Not hard, but not fast or convenient either.
By making the scales in this Fast Swap fashion, it opens up a world of customization. Plus, the scales are made available Open Source via Creative Commons License Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) users can distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the scales in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to Knafs. Knafs encourages you to disassemble the knife, tear it down, and put it back together - no warranty voided for disassembly. So you can own your knife and enjoy it for years to come.

Sopivan kokoinen taskuveitsi, ei mikään pelottelu väline vaan arkinen työkalu jolla on helppo leikkiä että oikeastikin käyttää

Huomaa että suunnittelia Ben on itse intohimoinen veisi ihminen.
I like it very much
This is the second time I’ve bought one of these knives and they’ve both proved to be more trouble then they’re worth. The first one had a spacer that didn’t fit the replacement scales and had to be filed down. The second knife was delivered with a stripped screw meaning I couldn’t unscrew it as is advertised. I got in touch with Mukama who were unusually unhelpfull and just sent me a list of solutions for fixing stripped screws including drilling out the screw, something I already knew about and ended up having to do and because the scales are so flimsy the original scale snapped. One of the main selling points for this knife is the supposed ease of swapping out scales, I’d recommend looking at Benchmade or Civivi knives and Flytanium scales. I’m definitely not buying anymore Knafs gear.
Was pleased Mukama had these in stock. Great addition to my EDC, nicely made pocket knife. Satisfying opening by thumb stud, nice deep carry clip. Was nice and sharp out of the box. A great affordable pocket knife.
The knife is excellent for what it is - a utalitarian EDC knife, that offers a variety options for easy scale change. Not perfect, but highly useful.
Regarding service - the knife was shipped and arrived at my city at the date it was supposed to arrive at Mukama!
