The Limited Edition Ultem® Mini Pen is the perfect everyday carry pen. Each pen is CNC'd in the USA from a heat-resistant Ultem® material. The compact body of the pen allows you to fit it comfortably in your pant and shirt pockets. Extend the pen's length by screwing the cap onto the end of the pen barrel for a comfortable full-sized pen.

Capable of lasting three times longer than a standard ballpoint pen, the pen comes with Schmidt 4889M ballpoint pressurized ink refill, allowing you to write upside down without any change in ink flow. The Dango Mini Pen also fits all Dango Pen Wallet Pockets.

Ultem® is a translucent high-strength plastic material used in many industries including aerospace applications. This material is able to withstand extremely high temperatures while retaining its original shape.

Not fit for purpose

Very poor pen as it is limited to the the supplied refill which is only available in medium nibs in blue or black.
However, if you are brave, you can slightly enlarge the inside of the nib unit with a 1/8" drill to the correct depth to fit Fisher refills. This mod prevents it splitting when fitting a Fisher as a previous reviewer has noted.
The manufacturer should be made aware of this shortcoming.
Other than the above it is a very average product which would represent poor value for money even at half the price.

Not blown away.

I was really looking forward to this pen, but there was so many faults with it. I got my money back.

Fragile

Very short and slim and uncomfortable but length is ok with the cap on. The original Schmidt cartridge dries out fast so I repaced it with a Fischer space refill which had to be squeezed in and the threading broke. The pen is in the trash now.

Fantastic pen

Very Good pen in Ultem, I really like the material.
The size is perfect.
You can change the ink cartridge by an ink cartridge of a Space pen (that it work in any situation like under water, upside down ...)
