Ultimate breathability: Standard foam is replaced with a new two-layer construction of 3D spacer mesh and abrasion-resistant 50D monofilament woven. The back panel is durable, doesn't pill, won't abrade clothing, and is wildly breathable.

Black: More environmentally responsible: To color their products, most big brands add dyes after the fabric has been developed. For this evolution of the CHZ, custom textile is solution dyed at the polymer stage in the beginning of the supply chain, which uses far fewer resources and produces a longer lasting product. Saves water. Saves electricity. Adds color fade resistance.

Low profile exterior: A streamlined profile lacking bobbles and dangles make it glide through crowded city streets or dense outdoor surroundings.

Ergonomic harness: Superior fit resulting from the 3d patterning rides high for active carry and with the SHIFT laptop patterning CHZ is exceptionally comfortable even with a laptop inside.

Padded + suspended laptop compartment: Suspended above the bottom of the bag for impact protection. Contour patterning keeps the pocket flat against the back panel and out of the way. Holds devices securely while allowing back panel flex for incredibly comfortable laptop carry. Integrated foam pad for device protection against other objects in the bag. Finger loop for easier handling and loading.

Dual side utility pockets: Exterior side pockets built from hard-wearing mountain apparel grade 4-way stretch woven for easy access to gloves, 1 liter water bottles, sunglasses, etc. Holds contents close and expands for larger items. Simple fold-over construction reduces catching. Elastic inside top edge is protected from abrasion, helps contain items and maintain a low-profile. Bottom pleat expands to create volume. Corner cutouts allow dirt and debris to passively escape.

Angled main body zipper: Sloping zipper lines for smooth operation and hinged, half-zip opening allows excellent access and visibility while containing the load. Bottom bucket has excellent volume and packs well Lighter colored interior aids visibility.

Exterior top pocket: Quick, easy access to smaller items and key leash without setting the bag down. Uses volume above the shoulders and does not interfere with main compartment. Keeps more fragile items up high, above the main load.

Interior security pocket + mesh pocket: Opaque pocket + mesh pocket with 2-step access combines security, with accessibility. Keeps more fragile items up high, above the main load.

Utility webbing loops: Two vertical rows of webbing at the top of main interior allow you to clip or stow small items like keys, pens, folding knives or attach an aftermarket organization pouch or panel.

Loop logo patch: Velcro loop logo allows quick customization for style or function. Differentiate or identify your CHZ from others in your group or add reflective or fluorescent functionality for visibility. Patches sold separately.

Low pro bladder ports: Right and left shoulder ports have no velcro, no elastic, and no moving parts. Easy to use and will not break over time.

EV50 shoulder strap from Zotefoams: Zote uses Nitrogen gas in a high pressure process to create foams with small and highly uniform pore size and consistent bubble distribution throughout the material. This yields a pure EVA foam with extremely even density and long lasting compression resistance.

YKK zippers with DWR finish: The RC (Racquet coil) zipper from YKK is specially designed for luggage applications where resistance to abrasion is a must. This zipper was precision engineered to meet the toughest performance requirements.
