Combining Volcom’s heritage in the surf community with Matador’s expertise in lightweight travel, the Matador × Volcom Packable Beach Towel is a compact and absorbent solution to keeping a beach towel on hand.

This sizeable towel is made from quick drying nanofiber that absorbs up to 2.3x its weight in water. Use the built-in zipper pocket to store keys, cash, or a phone. When the towel is not in use, it packs into that same pocket for convenient travel.

Not as expected

I love Matador products for travel, but I found this towel was not particularly absorbent, and did not dry as quickly as I had hoped. Not sure what materials they use, but not quite as expected.

Kind of disappointed

Was expecting a high quality engineered product in the Matador tradition, but I was disappointed. Design is good but the fabric is shiny (grey version), too thin, had major weaving imperfections in areas, badly stitched hems, the rubber logo stays permanently wrinkled, the zip pulls come off on their own as they are too short and stiff. Still an interesting accessory to have but not as good and sleek as the other Matador products. Great shop and service.

The best travel towel, does absorb very well, sand can easily rolled off, doesn’t dry super quickly as those microfiber ones but still very good
