The False Claims of Orbitkey

Orbitkey's Desk Pouch seemed perfect in size and organisation for my purposes - a mini tech pouch to organise some small items like cables, SSDs, chargers etc. The price tag seemed agreeable in the face of all the advertised features - self-standing design, fold-down front panel, superior organisation.

Hence, it became mine some 3-4 days later (great service Mukama!).

Here comes the "but" -- a badly disappointing product. If not to out my frustration, I have to warn you, all future customers:

1. Self-Standing Design? Barely! 1 of 5 attempts makes the pouch stand upright, and this very gingerly so. Its thin base and many loading variables makes this claim ridiculous in hindsight

2. Integrated Fold-down Front Panel? Say what? The two sidewalls open when you pull the zipper, duh! (Why are they called panels eludes me - other than the pen holder these flaps have no organisation whatsoever), True, you can fold them, but neither side stays folded for any extended period of time. I have tried bend in the mid section, heavy pencil to weigh it down, both front and back, the "panel" inevitably closes and pouch falls on its face.

3. Thoughtful organisation? I will give Orbitkey this one - there are a number of pockets and elastics on both sides. I only wish some thought was given to the materials as well. The elastics are pi** poor. They are rigid and ... well, not very elastic. Meaning in time your items will start to fall off, as the material deforms and doesn't go back to the original shape and size.

4. Waterproof outer material? - I dare not test the pouch with water. What I noticed though it is a dirt magnet - picks up lints and dust immediately.

All in all, do spend your 35€ on a meal or something, this pouch here ain't worth it.
